The heating cycle and coefficient of performance (COP)
The efficiency of a heat pump is commonly evaluated using the Coefficient of Performance (COP), which is the ratio of heat output to electrical energy input. A higher COP indicates greater efficiency.
For instance, a COP of 3 means that for every unit of electricity consumed, the heat pump produces three units of heat.
COP is defined as the ratio between the rate at which the heat pump transfers thermal energy (in kW) and the amount of electrical power required to do the pumping (in kW).

Central-Moov’s compact, side discharge condenser is up to 40% smaller than traditional heat pumps. The smaller units offer greater fexibility for installation and a more aesthetically pleasing fnished look.
