These general Contest Rules apply to all contests operated by The Master Group, including where you can enter or participate in a Master Group contest or giveaway via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or any other third-party service, application or website (a “Third Party Service”), except where there are specific rules for a particular contest (a “Master Group Contest”).<\/p>\n
The Memorial Cup Contest (the \u201cContest<\/strong>\u201d) begins on May 22, 2026 at 12:00:00 a.m. ET and ends on May 31, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET (the \u201cContest Period<\/strong>\u201d).<\/p>\n To be eligible to win a participant must<\/p>\n No purchase is necessary. The Master Group employees, and any other representatives involved in any part of the administration and execution of this contest, or a member of the respective immediate families of such employees are not eligible to participate in the contest.<\/p>\n There will be four (4) Prizes for the random draw Contest, as follows:<\/p>\n NO ONE IS A WINNER UNLESS AND UNTIL THE SPONSOR OFFICIALLY CONFIRMS THEM AS THE WINNER IN ACCORDANCE WITH THESE RULES.\u00a0 Before being declared AS A CONFIRMED PRIZE winner, each eligible winner will be required to: (a) correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without mechanical or other aid (which may, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor, be administered online, by email or other electronic means, by telephone, or in the Sponsor\u2019s form of declaration and release); and (b) sign and return within 5 business days of notification the Sponsor\u2019s declaration and release form, which (among other things): (i) confirms compliance with these Rules; (ii) acknowledges acceptance of the Prize (as awarded); (iii) releases the Sponsor and all of the other Released Parties from any and all liability in connection with this Contest, their participation therein and\/or the awarding and use\/misuse of the applicable Prize or any portion thereof; and (iv) agrees to the publication, reproduction and\/or other use of their name, city and province\/territory of residence, voice, statements about the Contest and\/or photograph or other likeness without further notice or compensation, in any publicity or advertisement carried out by or on behalf of the Sponsor in any manner or medium whatsoever, including print, broadcast or the internet.<\/p>\n Any costs or expenses incurred by the winners in claiming or using their prizes are the responsibility of the winners.<\/p>\n If the selected participant is unable to correctly answer the skill-testing question, cannot be reached by email or telephone within thirty (30) days of the draw, or otherwise does not meet all contest conditions, his or her prize will be forfeited and another entrant will be randomly drawn from the remaining eligible entries.<\/p>\n The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be provided. The Master Group reserves the right to substitute the prize described above with prizes of equal or greater value.<\/p>\n By entering, all participants agree to abide by the generic rules and regulations and decisions of the contest organizers which are final. All entries become the property of The Master Group and will not be returned.<\/p>\n The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.<\/p>\n No correspondence will be entered into with participants except to the winner, and in compliance with Bill C-28, participants who \u2018opt-in\u2019 to receive email communications from The Master Group.<\/p>\n The Master Group reserves the right, in its sole discretion and with the approval of the Qu\u00e9bec R\u00e9gie des alcohols, des courses et des jeux (the \u201cRegie\u201d) to cancel, suspend, withdraw, terminate or modify this Contest or any portion of this Contest, or extend any deadlines of this Contest, at any time without prior notice, including for reasons beyond the control of The Master Group.\u00a0\u00a0 The Master Group also reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend the contest should causes beyond the control of The Master Group corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the contest (such as tampering or infection by computer virus, fraud, technical failures, printing or distribution errors, or any other causes or occurrences that have compromised the fairness or integrity of the contest). If, as a result of an error relating to the entry process, drawing or any other aspect of the contest, there will be a random draw amongst all eligible prize claimants after the contest closing date to award the prize.<\/p>\n The Master Group assumes no responsibility for any (i) late, lost delayed, not received, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, defective or altered entries; (ii) failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, servers, access providers, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or recipient or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site: (iii) any combination of thereof, including any injury or related damage to entrants or any other persons, whether computer-related or resulting from participation or downloading of any materials in this contest.<\/p>\n In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any contest-related materials, including but not limited to the contest entry form, or point of sale, television, print, or online advertising, the terms and conditions of these rules shall prevail, govern and control.<\/p>\n By entering this contest, entrants forever release and hold harmless The Master Group, their advertising and promotional agencies, their affiliates and respective directors, officers, owners, partners, employees, agents, dealers, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively the \u201cReleasees\u201d) from any and all damages, injuries, death, loss, or liability to person or property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of entering this contest, the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, or while preparing for and\/or participating in this contest and\/or prize-related activity.<\/p>\n Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the R\u00e9gie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling.
